The V1CE 24K Gold card is plated in real 24K gold, so it has a bright, reflective finish. Because pure gold is soft, the surface picks up fingerprints and fine scratches with normal use, much like a gold bar or fine gold jewelry. This is expected for solid 24K plate and is not a fault.

What the finish looks like

The 24K Gold card is plated with real 24K gold. That is the purest, softest form of gold, so the card is bright and reflective by nature. It catches the light the way fine gold jewelry does.

Why it shows marks

Pure gold is soft. The purer the plating, the more the surface behaves like a gold bar: it shows fingerprints, and it can pick up fine surface marks over time. Carrying the card loose against keys or coins will speed this up. None of this affects how the card works. The NFC chip and QR code keep working as normal.

Can I get a different finish?

The 24K Gold card ships with its natural bright 24K finish.
