How do I set up two-factor authentication on my V1CE account?

Turn on two-factor authentication for your V1CE account from Settings → Security. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, enter the 6-digit code, and save your backup codes somewhere safe.

Before you start

You'll need an authenticator app on your phone. Any of these work: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, or Bitwarden. Install one before starting.

Turn on 2FA

1. Sign in at app.v1ce.co
2. Open Settings
3. Tap Security
4. Tap Enable two-factor authentication
5. Open your authenticator app and tap Add account or the plus icon
6. Scan the QR code shown on screen
7. Type the 6-digit code from your authenticator into V1CE
8. Save your backup codes — copy them into a password manager or print them

From now on, you'll be asked for a 6-digit code every time you sign in on a new device.

What are backup codes

Backup codes are one-time codes you can use to sign in if you lose your phone. Each code works once. Save them somewhere you can get to without your phone — a password manager, a printed sheet, or a note in a secure location. If you run out of backup codes, generate a new set from Settings → Security.

How to turn 2FA off

1. Sign in at app.v1ce.co
2. Open Settings → Security
3. Tap Disable two-factor authentication
4. Enter your current password and a 6-digit code from your authenticator to confirm

I lost the phone with my authenticator app

Use one of your backup codes to sign in. Then go to Settings → Security and either set up 2FA on a new device or turn it off. If you've lost both your phone and your backup codes, contact V1CE support with your account email and a photo of the QR code on the back of your V1CE card. We'll verify your identity and reset 2FA manually.
