How can I tell which V1CE software I'm using?

Updated 3 June 2026 Account

V1CE runs on two systems right now: the current ClientCapture OS, and legacy software (V1CE Plus, V1CE Pro, V1CE Teams) for customers who bought before May 2026. The fastest way to tell which one you are on is to log in to app.v1ce.co and look at the layout, or send V1CE a screenshot of your dashboard.

> Other ways people ask this:
> "which V1CE version", "what software am I on", "ClientCapture OS or Plus", "am I on legacy", "old V1CE or new V1CE", "what plan am I on"

Why this matters

The two systems look different and the menus are in different places. Steps that work on ClientCapture OS often do not match the legacy software, and the other way around. Knowing which system you are on means support can give you the right steps the first time.

Three quick ways to tell

  1. Look at your dashboard. Sign in at app.v1ce.co. ClientCapture OS has the current builder and the ClientCapture OS branding in the menu. Legacy V1CE Plus, Pro, and Teams have an older layout and refer to V1CE Plus, V1CE Pro, or V1CE Teams in the menu and settings.
  1. Check your Settings menu. Open Settings in your dashboard. ClientCapture OS shows ClientCapture OS as the plan name and the price as $49.99 / £49.99 a month. Legacy shows V1CE Plus, V1CE Pro, or V1CE Teams with the original yearly price.
  1. Send V1CE a screenshot. The fastest path if the above is unclear is to take a screenshot of your dashboard home page and send it to V1CE. Support will confirm which system you are on in one message.

If you bought before May 2026

If you bought a V1CE subscription before May 2026, you are most likely on legacy V1CE Plus, V1CE Pro, or V1CE Teams. V1CE is keeping legacy plans running for existing customers, so you do not need to switch to ClientCapture OS unless you want the newer features.

If this didn't fix it, start a chat with V1CE and we'll take it from here.
