What are V1CE legacy plans and can I still use them?

V1CE has two generations of software.

Current plans (available to new and existing customers):

• V1CE Free Forever: comes with every card purchase, no monthly fee.
• V1CE ClientCapture OS (CCOS): paid subscription, per user/cardholder, 30-day free trial. See v1ce.co/pricing for current pricing.

Legacy plans (existing customers only, not available to new customers):

• V1CE Plus at a legacy monthly or annual rate — still active for customers who signed up before CCOS launched.
• V1CE Pro — legacy plan, still active for existing subscribers.
• V1CE Teams — legacy multi-user plan, still active for existing accounts.

These plans are not sold to new customers. If you are an existing legacy customer, your subscription continues until you change it.

How to check which system you are on:

Log in at app.v1ce.co. If your dashboard looks different from screenshots you see online, you may be on the legacy system. Send a screenshot to the support team and they can confirm.

Switching from legacy to ClientCapture OS:

If you want to move to CCOS, the team can migrate your account. Your NFC card will be re-pointed to your new page at no cost (see: How do I re-point my NFC card after migrating?).

Reverting from CCOS to legacy V1CE Plus:

If you upgraded to CCOS and want to revert to your legacy V1CE Plus plan, click the banner on your dashboard to revert. If you cannot see the banner, contact the team with your account email.

Offline QR Code (legacy V1CE Plus feature):

The Offline QR Code is a paid legacy V1CE Plus feature. It is not available on CCOS or Free Forever. If you specifically need this feature, contact the team — they can assist on a case-by-case basis.
