Agreements or Services say "connect a Stripe account" but I already connected one

Updated 22 June 2026 Integrations

If you've connected Stripe but V1CE still asks you to "connect a Stripe account" when you try to send a paid Agreement or take a payment, your Stripe account is connected but not yet fully verified. Stripe needs a few more details before it will let you accept payments. Until that is done, V1CE cannot send the payment request.

> Other ways people ask this:
> "it says connect stripe but I already did", "stripe connected but can't send agreement", "can't take payment stripe connected", "stripe verification pending", "agreement won't send needs stripe", "services payment blocked stripe", "stripe says pending"

Why this happens

When you connect Stripe, Stripe runs its own checks on your identity and business details. If something is still outstanding (for example a verification document), your account shows as connected on V1CE but pending on Stripe's side. Paid Agreements and payments stay blocked until Stripe clears it.

How to fix it

  1. Log in to your Stripe dashboard at [dashboard.stripe.com](https://dashboard.stripe.com).
  2. Look for a banner or a "Complete your account" task.
  3. Provide whatever Stripe asks for (often an ID or a business document).
  4. Submit it and wait for Stripe to approve. This is usually quick.

After Stripe approves

Come back to V1CE and send your Agreement or take the payment again. It will now go through. You do not need to reconnect Stripe.

If this didn't fix it, start a chat with V1CE and we'll take it from here.
